New computer

I am thinking to buy a new computer. I wanted to have a notebook. However, after considering the capacity and price, I decided to go with desktop computer. There are some different sizes. Yes, I still would prefer to have smaller or even smallest one, but I need my minimum condition for video card, CPU, memory. Video card must be GeForce8600GT CPU, memory should be over 2GB DDR2, CPU would be Core 2 Duo E6750/6850 or Core 2 Quad Q6600/6800.
I find one computer which is just matched for these capacity from Dospara. This computer shop will change these capaticies. On the website, I picked the smallest computer, and which I could make the original one which just matched the capaticy which I wanted. Also, the price is pretty much reasonable.
So, hopefully I buy it in a few weeks.

My nephew's kindergarten dance & athletic event

My nephew had dance & athletic event in his kindergarten on 30th of September.

It suppose to be done in their ground, but it was raining today. So, they did in the gym in high school which is next to his kindergarten (5 minutes walk).

All my family except my father didn't go. My father was busy with his work today. Oh, yeah. My nephew's mum side grandma and his mum's sister also came to see him.

It started at 9am, I went there with my grandparents by their car, but it was a bit late, maybe 5-10 minutes late.
I missed pre-excise. But, next was running competition. Yes, he was 3 years old. Under the Japanese education system, school year starts in April, and finish in March. Basically, kids whose age is between 2nd of April to 1st April in next year are the same grade. Don't ask me why the the border is put on 2nd of April. It sounds strange to me, too.
Anyway, each kid had one race with other 3 kids randomly selected or just divided by their hight. My nephew got the 1st place in his group. Oh, there was one girl who was very first. She was one year youndr than my nephew, but I think she was the fastest in hers and next two older aged kids.
He did two more dances and a sort of running competition (get two coloured balls (maybe the same colour or maybe not the same) from a box, running to the same coloured baskets (10-20m away depending on the baskets), and put the ball in the basket), and tug of war (TSUNAHIKI). He was a good dancer, but he was always looking for the camera to be take by me and his parents. So, he sometimes did over reaction to a camera while he was dancing.

Anyway, I really enjoyed watching his dances and competitions, but I was very busy with taking photos of him. I actually took more than 200 photos during this event. But after I checked them in the computer, there were many unclear or unfocused photos. It was simply because darker condition by not enough brightness from the right in the gym and speedy movements of people. However, there were some very nice photos, so I was so happy with that.

My baby nephew

My blog has been late to post last two days, becuse I came back late from my work. Well, I could do this during the day time today but actually I didn't have time to do. This is the main thema in this blog.

So, I should tell what I did today. Until I went to work today, I did babysitting. Who was baby? It was my second nephew. Today, his dad went to work, and his mum went to kindergarten with her first son for practice of his athletic event on this Sunday. Well, in this event they not only compete running, but also dance and play some sports with kids' parent(s). His mum was so busy to see, tape him by video camera and play with him even in the practice. On Sunday, of course we all go to see him.

Anyway, she left her second son who was still 8 months old with me.

So, I took care of his today. Well, basically he was a very good boy because he doesn't cry very much, either is he noisy. But since she learnt creeping, he need to be eyed on. Neither he goes anywhere in danger for him nor eat non-food and even foods which might stack in his throat.

He had been a good boy as usual, while I was taking care of. I took some photos, of course, and I made him laugh a lot. He got his dummy in his month, but it fell off because of his big laugh. I am still not sure what the switch to make him have such a big laugh. Well looking at his big laughing face, I feel happiness. So, I really enjoyed being with him today.

I maybe write much about him in this blog. But it's all for today.

Celebration of full moon

I really loved to write something last night, but I couldn't... I finished my work.

It was the day to celebrate the full moon in Autumn (called TSUKIMI), well it is not the only day having full moon during a year, but last night was the only day to celebrate. Well, don't ask me why, but it is traditional thing to me. If you want to know, it is a good idea to search it. By the way, we eat dango (Japanese dumpling) and one kind of potato, also we decorate Chinese silver grasses in the vase. It should be the night with totally full moon, but sometimes not. In this year, it was not the last night (not sure though), but I think it happens tonight or tomorrow night.
I looked at the moon last night. It was so gorgeous I could see it between clouds, so I felt it was good reflection against them to the universe (not against the earth though). Yes, it was unclear right making me feel it mysterious.
Oh, yeah. I couldn't eat dango last night because I came beck very late from my work (12:45am) as I mentioned before in this blog. But, I had dinner which was included the special potatoes cooked by my mum. They were so nice, and I enjoyed my dinner although the day was already changed.

I think I'd better finish this topic, but will do one more message before sleeping.

Today is holiday in Japan

Today is one of the Japanese national holiday. We call 'Shun-bun (Autumn- separation) no ('s) Hi (day). I simply looked at the meaning of this particular holiday on the website (Japanese wikipedia.org). It says 'Shun-bun no Hi is the day to respect and remember our ancestors'. We also believe the day has the same length of day and night time, but truly day time is longer (according to the wikipedia.org).

Also today is the middle of the equinoctial week. Many Buddhists in Japan visit their ancestors' graves in the temple during this week. I am not sure I am going to. If my parents or grandparents go, I will, but if they have already been there, I won't. To me, there is no religious reason to visit the grave, but respect to my ancestors. I guess I will write my ideas against religions in this blog in the future.

I think I'd better finish today's message before finishing this particular day. It is ending in 3 minutes.
